Look at the diagram attached for A) to learn how I worked it out
In the diagram I have called the width 'a' and the length 'b'
For shape 1 the equation is 33= 4a+3b
For shape 2 the equation is 13 = 2a+b
After trial I found that a=3. And
B= 7. This works for both equations and therefore must be correct
To work out the perimeter of 1rectangle I do 2(3+7) which is 20
I cannot fit the explanation of B)
