To do question a you need to times the section that was equal to 13cm twice because there are two of them in the shape. this leaves you the big rectangle so 13x2=26 then 33-26, because 33 is the length of the shape with the big rectangle, = 7 so then the big rectangle = 7 you have to - that from 13 to get the length of the 2 small rectangles which leaves 6 but that is for 2 and we need onne so we divide that by 2 which gives us a final answer of 3. ;-)
