The Largest Factor Multiple chain is: 96 48 24 12

This is this is the solution because 96 is the largest number that has enough factors and multiples to complete a chain. All the numbers above 96 don’t have enough factors such as 98. 98 only has 3 factors which are 98, 49 and 7 so 98 cannot be used. Despite being a factor of all numbers, 1 cannot be used in this task. Although 100 is the largest number it cannot be used because it only has three factors and that isn’t enough to complete a whole chain. That is why I think that starting with 96 will create the largest factor multiple chain.
