I think an answer is 3 adults 47 pensioners and 50 children.
I used the spreadsheet and trial and error.
In the end i started off with 50 children.
the total cost was £42.50.
I knew i had to make it so that the number of seats equaled the total cost.
I went for 3 adults as a a place to work from and as it turned out i had used 53 seats at the cost of £53!
All i needed to do was add in 47 pensioners to secure the answer.
I reckon there must be an equation that would work to find all the other solutions.
