You could drop the first egg from the fifth floor and if it doesn't break then do it from the tenth and if it doesn't break then do it on the fifteenth and twentieth etc., etc., etc. but each time you test it if it breaks only test the five below it as you will already have tested the one below.
my question is: what if there were more eggs that were different strengths and you didn't know which was which?
