How I started to work it out was using a table. It made me realise some very important patterns, it was doubling it's branches each week so all I had to do was double the number till the sixth week then how many branches there were was the number of flowers so it was quite easy but was really fun to work out.
This is my table:
1=2
2=4
3=8
4=16
5=32
6=64, so 64 is my answer.
