we added numbers together from 0 to nine and checked if they added up to the right number and checked that we haden't used the number before. 0 and 3 add to make three 7 and 1 add to make eight 2 and 5 add to make seven 4 and 9 add to make thirteen and 6 and 8 add to make fourteen.
