You can always do this with odd numbers.
However, more importantly, the ONLY ones you CANNOT do it with are powers of two. (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, etc) You can ALWAYS make a number from the sum of consecutive numbers, EXCEPT for powers of two.The formula for odd numbers is...
((n-1)/2)+(((n-1)/2)+1
Then... You might subtract consecutive numbers, or add consecutive triangular numbers,
or primes. The possibilities are literally endless!
