First we made 3 towers, 1 of 1 cube, 1 of 2 cubes and 1 of3 cube. We put them in order of smallest to largest and added them together, which equaled 6.

Next we did it with some more like this:

2+3+4=9 3+4+5=12 4+5+6=15 5+6+7=18

We noticed that the answers were all in the factor of 3,that if you take 1 off the biggest tower and put it on the smallest tower they are a equal height.

If you look at the middle number in the three towers and add all the cubes up, the answer will be 3x the middle number.
