When you add 3 consecutive numbers together, the answer however many digits there are will always be a multiples of 3 for example:

4+5+6=15 1+5=6

27+28+29=84 8+4=12

101+102+103=306 3+0+6=9

18+19+20=57 5+7=12

as you can see all answers are multiples of 3
