After you times the number by itself , then take away the same number it stays in the same times table.E.g. 7x7= 49-7=42, 42 is in the 7 times tables. Also 5x5=25-5=20, 20 is in the 5 x tables, 3x3=9-3=6 6 is in the 3 times table, 19x19=1781-19=1762 1762 is in the 19 times table.
