No,longer names aren't always worth more in Scrabble. For example take two names such as Sadie and Jane. Sadie(the longer one) has the code 11211 witch adds up to 6 meanwhile Jane has the code 8111 witch adds up to 11. This is because it is not a matter of the amount of letters but of the value of letters involved.
