I think that there are six different ways that Afzal (A), Bengy (B) and Chrissy (C)could get the three medals. I think this because if (A) got gold, then in order of gold, silver, bronze, there could either be (A,B,C), or (A,C,B). This is true for each person, so since there are three people, and two ways for them each, there must be six different ways.
