To find what the question mark is worth, I used trial and improvement. i tested different numbers by starting on the bottom row. I did this by adding a multiple of 3 to another number. The results I got were:
Square= 8
Triangle= 6
Hexagon= 7
Circle= 4
So the missing number was 21!
