To find the value of the missing number, there is one very straight forward method. If you find the total of the numbers to the right of the grid, overall they have the same value of all of the numbers along the bottom- this includes the missing number. All you need to do, is find the sum of the horizontal numbers, then the vertical numbers, and find the difference of the totals. This will give you the value of the missing number.
