By comparing rows 3 and 4 I found out that the triangle is 2 less than the square because they all have the same shapes apart from those two and row 3 in total is worth 2 less than row 4. I used the same method with column 3 and 4 to find out that the triangle is one less than the hexagon. Column 2 had 3 squares and one triangle, so I added 2 to the total as if it would have been 4 squarees, then divided it by 4 to find the vlaue of one square which is 8. Therefore the triangle is 6 because it is 2 less and the hexagon is 7 because the triangle is one less than it. I found the value of the circle bytaking 6 away from row 3 and then dividing by 3 because there was 1 triangle and 3 circles. The value of 1 circle is 4. The last step is to add the values of the shapes in column 1.
6+7+4+4=21
