After solving this problem, I think there should be 24 different ways. 1st is representing the top button, 2nd represents the 2nd button, 3rd represents the 3rd button and 4th represents the 4th button. As you can see in the picture, I've wrote each way of buttoning your buttons. There could be other ways but I've found this way.
