This trick only works for numbers with single/double digits. With numbers with single digits, you could work it out like this: 6 x 11 = ? : 0_6 : 0 + 6 = 6 : 066= 66. 6 x 11 = 66. For numbers with double digits you could work it out like the video: 67 x 11 = ? : 6_7: 6 + 7= 13: 6137: 6+1 37 = 737. 67 x 11 = 737. But for numbers with triple digits, you could try to work it out in 3 ways: 123 x 11 = ? 1). 1_2_3: 1(1+2)2(2+3)3 = 13253. 2). (1+2)_3= 3_3: 3+3=6: 363. 3). 1 _(2+3)=1_5: 1+5 = 6: 1(6)5= 165. If you used a calculator the answer would be 1353. This means that the 11 times table trick does not work on all numbers.
