Pick a number, any number and put it in a column. Then multiply that number by 10 and put in the same column, underneath or on top of your other number. If you add these together you will get the answer to your first number multiplied by 11.
Example:
I pick the number 10.
I put it in a column. 10
I multiply this by 10. + 100
10 x 10=100 ----
I then put this number in a column. 110
I add these numbers together.
Answer: 110
And 10 x 11=110.
