My strategy was to find a number which is divisible by 4 and if you add 2 to a quarter of it, it will become a third of the first number.

Solution:
Quarter of number which is divisible by 4 + 2 = one third of number which is divisible by 4

If the solution works, then the number which is divisible by 4 will be the amount of coins on the table.

The strategies that I used were guess check and improve and logical thinking.
