I knew that if I didn’t overlap the squares then it wouldn’t work, so I started overlapping the squares in lots of different ways to see which would end up making the most squares. I worked out that if I overlapped as many of the squares as possible, it’d make lots of smaller squares, whereas when I only overlapped a couple of the squares, it only made one square. After trying lots of different methods, I finally came up with a way to get about 6 squares! 🤓
