To solve this first I found how many candles they would have to buy by adding up all the numbers up to and including eleven because none of the candles last for over a year so they would have to buy new ones each time adding them up. I got sixty-six.Then for the second part of the problem I found eleven because it is not clear when it says the candles last for more than one year so I assumed that the first candle would last eleven years making the answer eleven.
