At first I was clueless as how to solve it but after a while it struck me that I had to look for number bonds to ten and see how much they will make together.This will give you a rough estimate of how much the value left should add up too.
There are various possibilities of getting 100 but I have only come across 1 as of yet.I think the ultimate trick is to start at the bottom instead of at the top as you need to know which route to take at the bottom and at the top yet it is more important to loo at the bottom IF you can't figure out how to start.Once you start getting close to 90 there is a 80% chance that you have part the right route but not completely the right route.
Double check whether all your numbers add up to 100 because if they don't then you haven't got the answer but you feel you have. It seems really hard but it isn't however it is rather disappointing as you might get very close but not 100 e.g. 99,98.
