What do you notice? Can you explain what you've noticed?
I've noticed that you can calculate the area of a parallelogram from Base x Height but for isometric paper parallelograms it is very similar, it is still Base x Height but the height is the length of the diagonal
Can you find a similar result for trapeziums in which all four lengths are whole numbers?
For trapeziums to work out the area in isometric paper the formula is (Length of top + Length of bottom) x Length of one diagonal = Area of trapezium
