They have given you a picture of 2 so start of with 3 you calculate how many steps up and down you have to do, for this question the answer is 8, 4 blocks on the bottom 3 in the middle 1 on the top. Now we are going to try 4 which is 12, 5 on the bottom 4 in the middle 2 in the other middle 1 on the top. Now using the help work out what 5 is
