Up and down staircase.
1. First we had to try and do a staircase going up 5 steps and down 5 steps.
2. Firstly we doubled 5 which = 10.
3. Then we put 10 squares going across.Because then it could fit 5 diagonal squares each way.
4. Next we put 5 squares diagonal both ways.
5. Next we filled in all the gaps with squares.
6. Then we had to count them all up and altogether there were 25 squares. 7. we used this method on all of them for example: use the number seven . All we have to do is square it so seven times seven = forty nine. And that worked for all of them and to check we used multi link and made our own staircase.
