We worked out the answers by using a system. Every time we tried a new way of finding a combination we changed carriage one by moving it up one number. After finding all the combinations for carriage one being the numbers 1-5 we started changing carriage two in the same way. After finding all ways with two carriages we added a carriage and went through the same process.
