My solution for the dice train

My solution for four dice
I realised that in every train of four dice there seems to be three combinations however I also realised that because on the dice the dots only go up to six so you can only make six possible trains. Therefore because of the fact that in each train there are three combinations all I have to do is the simple six times three and I have the answer.
My answer for the four dice steam train is: 18
Now I will try finding a solution for the five dice train by finding how many combination you can get in a 5 dice train and use that information to work out the answer.
