This is an explanation written by my maths group in Brighton who have been working really hard to try and improve their communication when problem solving. They really enjoyed this challenge and worked together to write the answer. Hope you are all well!

The melon on the left weighs the most because it's weight is the highest in kilograms and grams. It's 8.20 kg and as there is 1000g in a kg this is 8200 grams. You get a point for every gram which makes this the highest in points. The smallest melon is 6.45 kg which only gets 6450 points and the middle watermelon which is 7.35kg gets 7350 points. This means the one on the left is the largest.
