The numbers I was given are 5, 4, 4, and 8. I immediately recognized the 5 and the 4 and thought I should put them in the tens because 50 + 40 = 90, which is very close to the target of 100. So I tried 54 + 48, which gave me 102. Having a small distance from 100, that is why I submitted that solution.
