My strategies for this 'In the bag' problem are
1. If there is a higher number of marbles for one or 2 colours and no marbles of other colours, while guessing I will make sure there will be at least 1 marble for the colours which are not in the viewing and proportionally distribute rest depending on the ratio. for e.g. if there were 6 of red and 4 of yellow in viewing, my guess will be 5 red, 3 yellow, 1 green and 1 blue.
2. If there are marbles for each colour in the viewing, my guess will have all 4 colours marbles and also I will give proportional numbers to each depending on the ratio at the viewing. for e.g. if viewing is 3 red, 3 yellow, 2 green and 2 blue, my guess is exactly same what was in viewing.
I have tried this and it works very well.
Thanks
