In the 'Approaching Midnight Jump Straight In',we need to get every following 1 hour 15 minutes,starting with 7:00,then 8:15,9:30 and lastly 12:00.That way,the computer will never be able to win.If we look backwards,the closest to 12:00 is 11:45.If we somehow do not allow the computer to go more than 11:45,we can easily get the win.In order to give the computer 11:45 maximum,we need to get 10:45,from which 60 minutes added is 11:45.11:45 is 1 hour 15 minutes less than 12:00.So in this way,if we progress backwards till 7:00,we find that the computer has no way to win.since we have the first turn,we can get 7:00 with a 60 minutes move.after that the computer has no chance of winning,that is if we take every following 1 hour 15 minute after that.
