Our maths challenge group noticed there was no solution to this Nrich problem so we thought we would have a go!
We worked through the problem together and then everybody had a go at writing a solution. I was so impressed with Andy's first written solution, I asked him if he might like to submit it. He was very keen to! We had a look together at your 'What we like to see' page and he has now typed it up with added detail and has even added examples of his thought processes and how it works!
Both his first written draft of his solution and his final typed solution have been included in the word document attached. He is very excited to see if you might feature it as the first solution!
