The answer to this question is 21 because if you look at the second column you can see there are three squares and one triangle and if you look at the first row you can see it is the same but with two triangles and two squares. The total of the column is 30 but the total of the row is only 28, this means that the square must be worth two more points than the triangle. Now go back to the second column and give the squares any numerical value and give the triangle a numerical value that is two less. If you start from 5 and work up you will find that it eventually works when the square is 8 and the triangle is 6. From here you can work out the value of all the others shapes, that the circle is 4 and the polygon is 7 then we can just add up the last row to get the answer 21.
