When we just got this problem we set out the Dominos and tried random position and trial and error.

We then realized that some of the Dominos are higher values, for example 6 and 4. So we know each would need to add to bigger than ten.

We made sure the sixes were not in the same line because they were the biggest values and so needed to be shared out.

Then we tried to equally spread out the small and large numbers in each line.

We found that most of the lines added to 12,but the left side didn’t. To fix that we rotated the domino around so it increased the value of just 1 line by 1, as it swapped the values around without changing one of the 12's we had already made.
