There are 8 quadrilaterals with 4 in each row. First, I ask my friend to choose one. Then, I swap the first two quadrilaterals of the first row with the first two quadrilaterals of the second row. Then, I ask my friend: Is your quadrilateral in the first row?
i) If the answer is a yes, then I ask, pointing towards the unswapped quadrilaterals of the first row: Is your quadrilateral one of these two?
a)If the answer is a yes, I point randomly towards any one of the two and ask: Is this your choice? Basing on the answer, I come to know which quadrilateral it was.
b)If the answer is a no, I point randomly towards one of the swapped quadrilaterals and ask the same question as above, basing on which I guess his quadrilateral.
ii) If the answer to the first question is a no, then, I again follow the same procedure as outlined in steps (a) and (b).
