To solve this problem I started with the closest number to five thousand and I found that the closest number you can make was 5001. Then I moved on to the smallest multiple of five and I knew that it had to end in zero or five. Due to the fact I had already used all of the zero's I had to use five. I figured that it had to start with a number smaller than four so I decided to go the lowest and start it with one. So next I put in the second smallest number in the remaining two places. Next I moved onto the largest multiple of three and found that it would not waste anything to put the two largest numbers in the thousands and hundreds column. So I decided to put the next largest number in the tens column. Although, I didn't put an eight in the units column because that would be a waste of a large number. Instead I put a four in the units column. I decided to put the largest number that I had left in the thousands column for the largest even number!also the same pattern for the next ones.
