We built two towers out of building blocks. We put the smaller one two feet in front of the other. Then we looked at them and took pictures from different angles and distances. We checked if the space between the towers or their sizes seemed to change. We also looked at the way the background seemed to change.

We learned that it can look like the sizes of the towers and background, and the space between them change even when it doesn't. Sometimes the smaller tower looked bigger than the other, because we were closer to it.

Then we put them next to each other and took pictures again. This time the actually smaller one never got bigger than the other tower.
