Working With Highly Able Mathematicians - Secondary
Enrichment is for everyone - it is not exclusive but inclusive. In meeting the needs of our most able learners we can also engage and challenge all our pupils. Using rich tasks accessible to a wide range of ability enables you not only to stretch the able but identify those that might not normally shine.
The resources here are designed to support a session run by colleagues from the NRICH team. The aim is to:
- engage in and evaluate a range of tasks by reflecting on their own thinking and reasoning,
- examine approaches to teacher intervention that might help to develop mathematical thinking.
