Mathematicians often talk about the importance of working systematically on a problem, rather than approaching it in a random, unstructured way. The tasks in this feature have been chosen because systematic approaches will offer the most efficient routes to the solutions.
The NRICH Project aims to enrich the mathematical experiences of all learners. To support this aim, members of the
NRICH team work in a wide range of capacities, including providing professional development for teachers wishing to
embed rich mathematical tasks into everyday classroom practice.
