We labelled our triangles a, b and c and counted the squares (in a 10x10 grid) ,on a squared piece of paper, in those triangles then we added up the halves to get a hole number answer but some of them there were not a hole number answer. We then counted the squares in the 10 by 10 cm grid and there was 100 so we got the denominator number. We got the triangle and worked out that A = 1 quarter
WE then worked out that C= 1 eighth because it was half the size of a. We imaged that we took out c and we could place it in B three times so B= 3 eighths.
We then changed them into decimals a quarter of 100 is o.25 so we got A's answer quickly so it was A= 0.25. Then we tried to work out C we halved A and we got the answer C= 0.125. We times 0.125 by 3 and we got the answer as B= 0.375.
