Maths Club Activities - A Selection of Interesting Mathematical Challenges

These hands-on problem solving activities may be of interest to teachers wanting to run maths events such as maths clubs, open evenings or family-friendly maths events.

Most of the resources include a link to a printable sheet (either at the top or bottom of the page), along with teachers' resources, which offer some guidance on how the activity can be used with students. Many of the activities require some sort of equipment, mostly dice, counters or multilink, so you might find this equipment list helpful.

You may also be interested in our general guidance on Maths Beyond the Classroom.

We also have a selection of recordings of NRICH student webinars. You might find it helpful to watch these with students, or to use them to get ideas for how to approach an activity with a group.
