First,I know 1/4 plus 1/12 equals 1/3.
And 1/12 goes into 1/4 three times so the 1/4 equals 6 coins, and plus two coins from the 1/12 equals 2 and 2 plus 6 equals 8 and because there are 3 thirds in a hole I would do 8x3 to get 24 coins!!!!
