First I labelled the triangles A B and C . The square was ten cm each side so there was 100 squares. For A I counted the squares not missing out the half's there were twenty five squares in total. The fraction for A was twenty five over one hundred. I then made the fraction into its simplest form which is a quarter. I then counted the squares in C and it as 12.5 squares so it was 12.5 over one hundred which is the same as one over eight. I did the same for B and the simplest fraction was three over eight. I then put the fractions into decimals. A which was one quarter was 0.25 as a decimal. C was 0.125 as a decimal. For B it was three over eight because one eighth was 0.125 so I multiplied it by 3 as it was three over eight and the answer was 0.375.
