With this problem, you have to work out the maximum number of adult tickets with the rest children before it is more than £100, and that is 5, as 5 adults + 95 children = 98.25, and 6 adults + 94 children = 100.90. That is where I started, and I worked from their to find that there are no possibilities with 5 adults, the closest being 99.90, in the ration of 5:11:84. Then I worked with 4 adults. However this was unsuccessful, as the closest was 99.80, with a ratio of 4:28:68. Then I started at 3, and this is when I found my 1st solution of 3:47:50, but found no more with 3 adults. Then I went to 2 adults, and came to 99.90, with a ratio of 2:64:34. And obviously, I went to 1, but yet again, got a result of 99.95, with a ration of 1:82:17. And finally with no adults, I had no possibilities, and came to the conclusion that there is only one possibility, which is when the ratio of the tickets is 3:47:50.
