I halved the fraction of the whole E.g
There are 4 slices of pizza and that Is 4/4. Half the denominator and numerator and you get 2/2 meaning they get 2 slices each.
Same with the muffins
If there are 8 tomatoes then because we are dividend by 2 we can just half it and half of 8 is 4 so they get 4 tomatoes each
Another way you can do It if you are not that confident dividing is draw 2 circles and you can draw 8 tomatoes putting one in each circle at a time until you have done 8. This should leave you with 4 tomatoes in each circle.
