First we watched a video on consecutive numbers then we started to think about numbers and we tried to add consecutive numbers together to make a number.
After that we looked at Alison’s questions and started making our own questions. I decided to investigate whether I could make all of the numbers between 1 and 30 with 3 digit consecutive numbers, the answer was no because only the numbers In the 3 times tables and I found out 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20, 22, 23, 25, 26, 28 and 29 don’t work. Then I thought about how I was going to record it.
Then I looked at the way Charlie recorded his answers and I started to record my answers like that.
I found a pattern which was the way that the second number in the calculations started the next calculation.
