Walter's Wonderful Web
Walter's friends can spin perfect webs, but the ones Walter spins are wibbly-wobbly and always blow away in the wind. So Walter decides to practise making some different types of web. He starts off by making a web in the shape of a triangle and then he makes a bigger square, a longer rectangle, a taller diamond (rhombus) and a circle - and in the end he combines lots of different shapes together to make his wonderful web!

This book shows each of Walter's webs next to an image of the shape he is copying. It makes a lovely starting point for learning about shapes and sizes, as well as emphasising the importance of perseverance and problem solving.
