Biscuit Bear

Horace bakes a biscuit in the shape of a bear and he can't wait to eat it, but he has to wait twenty minutes for it to bake... then an hour for it to cool down... and then Horace has to go to bed, so he leaves the bear safely in a tin overnight. But Biscuit Bear comes alive and decides to bake a whole circus of friends to play with!

 

This story would make a lovely introduction to a baking topic, as well as being a starting point for thinking about how long it takes for food to cook and cool down.
