Reasoning: Identifying Opportunities (Selection of Tasks)

This selection of tasks offers opportunities for learners to reason for different purposes and in different ways.  You can read more about the reasons for choosing them in this accompanying article. Amy's Dominoes

Age 7 to 11 Challenge Level:

Amy has a box containing domino pieces but she does not think it is a complete set. She has 24 dominoes in her box and there are 125 spots on them altogether. Which of her domino pieces are missing?

Maze 100

Age 7 to 11 Challenge Level:

Can you go through this maze so that the numbers you pass add to exactly 100?
